In August, 2017, operators of Contigo Service, our support service for Senior Citizens, took part in “Recreational activities for the Elderly” training. These workshops were designed so that the members they usually get in touch with will benefit from better recommendations of hobbies and activities.
The commitment to service of our operators led to other trainings: they stated that there was a need to have tools to address the cases of elder abuse they encountered. In order to respond to this request, we contacted the Department of Elderly Affairs of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. Thanks to the Department of Elderly Affairs team we were able to take part in a new training course on such a sensitive issue.
